Paella on the Farm

Join us for our little house farm Dinner in the field on Saturday, August 10th, 6-9pm.

This month features a Spanish-inspired meal, celebrating the love of outdoor food and the alfresco farm dining experience. Kimi spent many years cooking in Europe and fell in absolute love (as many do), with the Spanish culture and the amazing savory ingredients that it highlights. We will enjoy this rustic meal meal adjacent to the blooming flower field and the Paella cooking area, as we all look west at the gorgeous Olympic mountains from underneath the black walnut tree. Join us for this Pacific Northwest spin on the traditional Paella and other delicious small dishes (pinxtos) while we enjoy the bounty of ingredients from our local Skagit Valley.

Hors d'oeuvres will be served next to the bonfire and under the canopy of our giant Black Walnut tree. Dinner will follow on a long table outside with delicious food, and great company. The meal will feature ingredients sourced from the Skagit Valley and other proximal locations.

Southern Charmed Farm Dinner

Join us for our little house farm Dinner in the old canning kitchen on Saturday, June 29th, 6-9pm.

This month features a Southern-inspired meal, paying homage to Chef Kimi's birthplace. Southern food is considered one of the only true "food cultures" in our country, with deep roots especially located in the low country of South Carolina. Southern food has seen a revival as of late, and Chef Kimi can wax poetic about growing up in the mud flats on the South Carolina coast, tossing shrimp nets and steaming oysters on a regular basis. Make sure you read the Pat Conroy quote at the end of this mailer for a poignant description of that lowcountry life. The Skagit Valley is known for upholding some of these same food culture values, as the locals value seafood, smaller-scale farming, and a more down-to-earth lifestyle. Chef Kimi looks forward to sharing her culture, while also highlighting the beauty and abundance of the Skagit Valley at this very special dinner.

Hors d'oeuvres will be served next to the bonfire and under the canopy of our giant Black Walnut tree. Dinner will follow in the little house with delicious food, and great company. The meal will feature ingredients sourced from the Skagit Valley and other proximal locations. Menu:
